HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE?
While we can't wait to have you in the studio and are just as excited as you, we are a strictly 18+ studio. It is illegal to tattoo minors in QLD, even with consent.
HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
To book an appointment, please use our book now link in the menu and select your preferred artist and the date and time. Once you have booked your appointment please send an email with a description of the tattoo, relevant photos and an approximate size and placement you are wanting. It is encouraged that you attach as much information about your tattoo as needed, detail and style etc. Please email as early as possible with a minimum of 24 hrs before your appointment as our artists have a lot of prep and designing to do before welcoming you into the studio. While you are always welcome to change your design and tweak the aspects you like best, changing the entirety of a design the day of your appointment can incur extra design time and fees for our artists.
HOW LONG WILL MY TATTOO TAKE?
30 minute appointments are for very simple letters, characters or numbers no bigger than the size of your thumb.
1 hour appointments are for slightly more detailed pieces, however still line work and simple. No bigger than your palm.
1.5hr appointments can squeeze a few simple pieces in or start to enter into micro realism territory.
2hr + appointments are for micro realism pieces and detailing on larger scales.
PLEASE NOTE IF YOU BOOK A FEW HOURS OF AN ARTISTS TIME AND CHANGE YOUR MIND TO WANTING LESS WORK WITHOUT GIVING YOUR ARTIST 72 HOURS NOTICE, YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE HOURS YOU BOOKED.
WHAT'S MY DEPOSIT FOR?
Your deposit ensures you have a space with your preferred artist and will come off your tattoo's price. All deposits are non refundable. These deposits are to ensure our artists are protected, upon the event of a no show or last minute cancellation within 72 hours of your appointment, the entirety of your deposit will go to the artist. If you wish to book again, you will need to rebook and pay another deposit. This also applies for bookings that result in you not getting a tattoo due to indecisiveness.
HOW MUCH IS A TATTOO?
Before booking your appointment, the best way to get a quote on a design you're wanting is to directly contact the artist you're looking to book with through instagram or email. Email listed below. If you're unsure who you'd like to choose for your tattoo, you can email us, The Raspberry Room. When messaging either your preferred artist, or us, please attach photos or designs with an approximate size and placement for your tattoo. The more information you give, the more accurate the ball park. All of our tattoos start at a minimum of $200. All transactions will be charged with 10% GST.

CAN I WALK IN?
We welcome walk-ins all days of the week, however we do encourage to book if it is a specific artist you're looking to get your tattoo with.
HOW DO I BOOK A 'NO PEEKING' FROM THE WALL
Just like the regular bookings, choose your preferred artist and make a booking through our link. Your artist will greet you and let you point out the No Peeking design! You're also welcome to try your luck at doing a walk-in.
HOW DO I BEST PREP FOR MY TATTOO?
We recommend you have a nice meal and are well rested before your appointment. We will clean and shave your skin but please avoid being sunburnt or wearing fake tan as this can affect your tattoo and the healing. Please also arrive in loose practical clothing to make sure your tattoo is easily accessible for your artist.
